Willow:
Your Personal Sustainability Consultant

Willow is being designed to be an all-in-one personal sustainability consultant. She will guide clients though the process of choosing a reporting framework, gathering the necessary data, analyzing the data, developing an action plan, and implementing the action plan.

Willow 1.0 is currently being developed. When complete enough to offer, Willow will be a system of existing apps, app-provided integrations, custom integrations using Google Apps Script, automations by Airtable and Google Apps Script, and various AI tools ... with A LOT of human oversight. The client will interact with Willow by email. Willow's responses will not be masked human interaction, so they will be limited at first, but the client may reach out to our Executive Director, Dana Hartt, at any time by emailing executivedirector@permasolutionsrd.org.

Interaction with Willow will increasingly be like interacting with a real person (except that she isn't likely to have interests and aspirations any time soon). Clients will be able to have conversations with Willow over email, in which she will be able to answer questions, make suggestions, brainstorm, etc. Later, this will be accomplished in real time, through speech recognition and speech generation, on the client's mobile device.
